For a long time I have been eyeing on the beautiful creations from Omtura, the Israeli label that creates minimalistic and architectural looking artisanal bags from leather. I read that the designer Anton Edelshtein finds his inspiration sources from shamanism, futurism and urbanism, and that can definitely be seen on the interesting shapes and designs of the bags which almost look like something straight out of a scifi movie.
A week ago I celebrated my birthday and it seems that my wish was granted, as this beautiful grey Omtura backpack found it’s way to my home and into my heart. I’m still in a total awe about it and it’s no wonder that the bag has already gathered many fans and definitely turns heads everywhere I go. Just take a look and you will understand.

It seems that the Mother Earth is a little bit confused at times: It took all the way to the end of August to finally get some summer heat. This lightweight, earth toned Area di Barbara Bologna maxi dress is the perfect vessel to celebrate the transition from Indian summer to proper fall by adding a few layers when the evenings start getting colder again.

When a fire alarm wakes you during your holiday midday nap and forces you rush out of the hotel just to hear that it was indeed a false alarm, at least you can take advantage of the fact that without this sudden distraction, this beautiful sunset would have gone totally unnoticed.
Luckily the only fire to be found was in the Virginia skies.

In the past few weeks Berlin has been blessed with great weather, so most of my days have been spent outdoors until the late hours. Hence the radio silence.. Picture wise this time has been extremely fruitful and to start the flow, I want to share something that has recently found its way to my closet from the Antwerp stock sales: A new Ann Demeulemeester silk dress and… tada… not in black! Project “inject some color into your wardrobe” has now officially started. You have been warned!
