Goodbye spring, welcome summer (part 2)

To save you from a complete picture overload, I decided to save my outfit shots from Saturday’s party to a separate post. My ensemble consisted of pretty much of an Owens/Demeulemeester union,  more specifically of the Rick Owens maxi skirt that I bought awhile back but haven’t photographed until now,  a silk Ann Demeulemeester top from my Berlin trip, my precious Owens wedges and a zipper necklace from Ann Dem as well.  My hat is a fast purchase made on Saturday morning  and it’s from the H&M Fashion against AIDS collection. I had been eying on it ever since the campaign images hit my email box a few weeks ago, and in a way it kind of reminds me of this season which only, has a positive ending to the story.

Maxi skirt: Rick Owens Lilies
Silk top: Ann Demeulemeester
Wedge ankle boots: Rick Owens
Zipper Necklace: Ann Demeulemeester
Hat: H&M Fashion against AIDS
Rings: Kalevala Koru, custom made nail ring and gifts

  1. Looks like you will totally rock the maxi trend, dear! As much as I wish to see you in white more often, I have to admit that this is a perfect Summer outfit for you 🙂

    1. Thank you, dear! You know, a few white pieces just moved into my closet…more about those probably today. 😉 You’re right, black is my thing and the zone I feel most comfortable in.

    1. Due to my larger than life cheeks, I look like a Teenage Ninja Turtle if I smile, so no thanks. 😀 Trust me, I’m not arrogant or sad at all! Confused.. sometimes. 😀

    1. Thank you. 🙂 You should give it a try, I was kind of skeptic how it will look on me due to my curvy hips but I soon figured out that it actually makes me look tall and lean. 🙂

  2. On that last pic you can really see how nicely the long skirt and boots fit together!
I live in Zurich right now, but I assure you I am from Denmark! :))
BTW I saw that you had to explain yourself about the Finland-Scandinavia thing to another reader a few days ago. Did he make the same comment I did? haha 🙂

    1. Thank you!:) They definitely do go perfectly together, I’ve seen them styled like this at some webstores and always thought that it’s the perfect combo.
Hahha, yeah she did but she did it in a very nasty manner dropping some other bombs at the same time. 😀 Zürich, how cool!

      1. Uhu I see, yea Zurich is nice buts it’s not Copenhagen 😦
Although this year they launched their annual fashion week in Zurich. It was a very big and nice event. I’ll see if I can hook you up with some tickets next year if you want to it’s around Mai.

        1. I have been to Copenhagen very briefly when I was a kid, so I have no memory of it really. I know that it’s really nice and it’s definitely one of the future travel destinations for me, alongside with Antwerp in Belgium. 😉

That would be so kind about the tickets, I would love to go there!!! 🙂

  3. this is lovely! i’ve been meaning to get a good hat like this…. i have a big floppy wide-brim one to keep the sun off my impossibly pale face, but I’ve been searching for something a bit more bowler-esque for years.
